Jesus Huidobro
Writer/Director
ICF Class of '00

Jesus was born in Mexico City, Mexico. He now lives with his mom and several stepbrothers and stepsisters in the Echo Park area of Los Angeles.

He always liked films and, at sixteen, he took a college filmmaking class for High School credit. During the course he produced three short super-8mm films and several more since.

Jesus graduated from Belmont High School where his favorite subjects were English, Creative Writing, Math and Drama.

His drama teacher recommended him for the Inner-City Filmmakers 2000 Summer Program. While in the ICF program he made an allegorical film about the conflict between good and evil. Jesus has since become a student at Santa Monica College and, through ICF, is working as a Development Intern at Edmonds Entertainment. He is staying involved with Inner-City Filmmakers through their Screenwriting and Intermediate Avid Editing classes to sharpen his filmmaking skills.

"ICF has taught me how involved and complicated the filmmaking process really is. Because filmmaking is such a big challenge, I'm more motivated than ever."
